Account Director


Job Description:

Catalyst, An IMG Consulting Company is seeking an Account Director with a proven track record for providing and selling in highly strategic counsel/recommendations to senior clients.


Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead decision-making and problem-solving processes to set and achieve corporate goals.
  • Provide senior-level account planning and supervision for key major accounts and provide specialized expertise in consumer brand practice area.
  • Serve as senior counsel to designated clients and multi-site account teams, providing strategic guidance to clients on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address client needs.
  • Serve as the top strategic liaison among clients, account team and agency management.
  • Impact strategic business and marketing decisions from a communications standpoint.
  • Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; encourage teams to take advantage of training and development opportunities.
  • Display strong team leadership and willingness to work closely with direct reports.
  • Help account team work effectively and in the best interests of client; maximize the agency’s network of resources to enhance client services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including client media materials, byline articles, client correspondence and reports.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and affinity for digital tools and platforms, including applications for clients’ business.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to client, colleagues and others.
  • Take a leadership role in new business proposal development and presentations; work with appropriate agency resources and account teams to identify and secure incremental business opportunities.
  • Manage account financials including budget allocation and control, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase orders; ensure team billability and account profitability.
  • Continue to build a leadership role in outside organizations to increase marketplace visibility and create new business opportunities.
  • Participate in external company promotion through articles, speeches, presentations, professional memberships, etc.
Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Proven track record for providing and selling in highly strategic counsel/recommendations to senior clients.
  • Ideally eight to thirteen years of agency, management and/or corporate public relations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree in a communication field desirable.

Senior Account Executive


Job Description:

Catalyst, An IMG Consulting Company is seeking a Senior Account Executive with at least 3 years of agency and/or corporate public relations experience.


Responsibilities:
  • Serve as day to day contact for clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of clients’ business.
  • Anticipate and address client needs and seek senior management input when appropriate.
  • Proactively pitch regional/national/major market media, building relationships to increase client’s visibility in the marketplace and create new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including client media materials, byline articles, client correspondence and reports with knowledge of emerging digital platforms and non-traditional media.
  • Participate in brainstorms and assist in idea generation.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and affinity for digital tools and platforms, including applications for clients’ business
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis and prepare program reports.
  • Report program results to client and agency management.
  • Manage events as on-site agency contact.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about public relations, with an interest in learning and excelling.
  • Both a team player and independent self-starter with a strong sense of urgency around clients’ businesses.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize; enjoys a fast-paced, high-achieving environment.
  • Motivate and supervise account/team.
  • Attend client and partner meetings as needed.

Graphic Designer


Job Description:

Catalyst, An IMG Consulting Company is seeking a Graphic Designer with 2+ years of experience.

The successful candidate will assist in developing high-level creative concepts and executing design through production. This individual will work on our current clients as well as assist on new business as it relates to campaign creative in print, digital, and installation deliverables including collateral, event signage, and logos. Position works closely with both the Creative Director and Senior Account Director.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and production of existing campaign creative into print, digital, and installation deliverables including collateral, event signage, and logos.
  • Create client presentations and templates for decks while adhering to corporate clients’ brand standards
  • Thoroughly review own work and deliver high-quality, on-time, error-free drafts
  • Development of creative concepts and big ideas
  • Set design directions and deliver meticulous execution
  • Present and sell through creative to team members and clients
  • Stay on top of design trends and educate team members to keep the agency at the forefront
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline agency team
  • Must be action-oriented and able to work independently, as well as within a team
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • 2+ years of solid agency experience in a Graphic Designer role or similar
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, mastery of InDesign Style sheets
  • Work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
  • Solid design expertise in social media, digital user experience, print and presentation
  • Demonstrated experience working across key digital platforms - desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual design ability
  • Thorough understanding of design theory including principles such as color, typography, texture, photography and digital user experience
  • Experience with client relationships, understanding client needs and meeting deadlines
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Strong communications skills both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of design trends, technology and social media
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of Actionscript, CSS, and HTML, not required but a plus
  • General knowledge and Interest in Sports
